Scope

This document applies to: - ship's boats that can be carried on inland navigation vessels according to ES-TRIN; - lifeboats if no special life-saving equipment (e.g. ADN1) is specified for the area of use; - work boats for the transport of a limited number of persons or smaller working loads in the construction site area and over comparatively short distances. This document does not apply to: - recreational craft according to Directive 2013/53/EU; - firefighting and water rescue boats.
