Scope

This standard is applicable to: – hydrophones employing piezoelectric sensor elements, designed to measure the pulsed and continuous wave ultrasonic fields generated by ultrasonic equipment; – hydrophones used for measurements made in water; – hydrophones with or without an associated pre-amplifier.
