The NFC Data Exchange Format (NDEF) specification defines a message encapsulation format to exchange information between two NFC Forum Devices. NDEF is a lightweight, binary message format that can be used to encapsulate one or more application-defined payloads of arbitrary type and size into a single message construct. Each payload is described by a type, a length, and an optional identifier. Type identifiers can be URIs, MIME media types, or NFC-specific types. This latter format permits compact identification of well known types commonly used in NFC Forum applications, or self-allocation of a name space for organizations that wish to use it for their own NFC-specific purposes. The NDEF Payload Length is an unsigned integer that indicates the number of octets in the payload. A compact, NDEF short-record layout is provided for very small payloads. The optional NDEF Payload Identifier enables association of multiple payloads and crossreferencing between them. NDEF Payloads can include nested NDEF Messages or chains of linked chunks of length unknown at the time the data is generated. NDEF is strictly a message format, which provides no concept of a connection or of a logical circuit, nor does it address head-of-line problems.

It is the responsibility of the user to establish appropriate safety and health practices and to determine the applicability of any other restrictions. Warning — It is absolutely essential that tests conducted according to this document be carried out by suitably trained staff. This document specifies methods to determine 90Sr and 89Sr by liquid scintillation counting (LSC) or proportional counting (PC) in supply water, drinking water, rainwater, surface and ground water, marine water, as well as cooling water, industrial water, domestic, and industrial wastewater after proper sampling, handling and test sample preparation. The detection limit depends on the sample volume, the instrument used, the sample counting time, the background count rate, the detection efficiency and the chemical yield. The method described in this document, using currently available LSC and PC instruments, has a detection limit of approximately 2 mBq·l−1 and 10 mBq·l−1 for 90Sr and 89Sr, respectively, for a volume of 2 l and a measuring time of 60 000 s, which is lower than the WHO criteria for safe consumption of drinking water (100 Bq·l−1 for 89Sr and 10 Bq·l−1 for 90Sr)[4]. The methods described in this document are applicable in the event of an emergency situation. When contamination contains fresh fission products, the contribution of 89Sr to the total amount of radioactive Sr is not negligible. This document provides test methods to determine the activity concentration of 90Sr in presence of 89Sr, and to determine the activity concentration of 90Sr in large volume of water sample (>50 L). The analysis of 90Sr and 89Sr adsorbed to suspended matter is not covered by this method. Filtration of the test sample and a chemical separation are required to separate and purify Sr from a test portion of the sample as the analysis of 90Sr and 89Sr adsorbed to suspended matter is not covered by this method. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the validity of this test method selected for the water samples tested.

This document specifies a method for the enumeration of the characteristic microorganisms Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus (in short: L. bulgaricus) and Streptococcus thermophilus (in short: S. thermophilus) by means of the colony-count technique. The method is applicable to yoghurts (for the definition see CXS 243‑2003). The colony-count technique (pour plates) is suitable for, but not limited to, the enumeration of L. bulgaricus and S. thermophilus in test samples with a minimum of 10 colonies counted on a plate. This corresponds to a level of the characteristic microorganisms L. bulgaricus and S. thermophilus that is expected to be higher than 100 cfu/g. The colony-count technique (spread plates) is suitable for, but not limited to, the enumeration of L. bulgaricus and S. thermophilus in test samples with a minimum of 10 colonies counted on a plate. This corresponds to a level of the characteristic microorganisms L. bulgaricus and S. thermophilus that is expected to be higher than 1 000 cfu/g.

The scope of this project is to provide guidelines for information exchange between BIM and GIS. As part of a series of proposed international standards for BIM-GIS information exchange, Part 02: Facilitating data exchange through metadata will aim to solve metadata issues to support bidirectional GIS/BIM information exchange and suggest technical requirements based on use case scenarios. Metadata give great opportunities to find, evaluate and manage relevant information for the bidirectional information exchange. To ensure the interoperability between GIS and BIM information models, it is critical for one domain experts to understand the metadata generated from the other domain and vice versa. The work will review existing methodologies and research with regard to bidirectional GIS/BIM information exchange, especially in terms of metadata and item registration. It will provide a use case scenario to give a certain context of bidirectional exchange of metadata. The use case will also provide the context within which the interaction that needs to be taken place between GIS and BIM model experts. With the use of the use case scenario, the process of properly generating metadata for each domain to ensure the bidirectional exchange can be identified. It will then list the technical requirements to support the process and provide a guideline to follow.

ISO 7396-1:2016 specifies requirements for design, installation, function, performance, testing, commissioning and documentation of pipeline systems used in healthcare facilities for the following: - oxygen; - nitrous oxide; - medical air; - carbon dioxide; - oxygen/nitrous oxide mixtures (see Note 1); - helium/oxygen mixtures; - (*) oxygen 93; - gases and gas mixtures classified as medical device, gases delivered to medical devices or intended for medical purposes or gases and gas mixtures for medicinal use not specified above; - air for driving surgical tools; - nitrogen for driving surgical tools; - vacuum. NOTE 1 Regional or national regulations may prohibit the distribution of oxygen/nitrous oxide mixtures in medical gas pipeline systems. NOTE 2 Anaesthetic gas scavenging disposal systems are covered in ISO 7396‑2. This part of ISO 7396 includes requirements for supply systems, pipeline distribution systems, control systems, monitoring and alarm systems and non-interchangeability between components of different gas/vacuum systems. This part of ISO 7396 specifies safety requirements for pipeline systems used in healthcare facilities, both public and private. It applies to all facilities providing healthcare services regardless of type, size, location or range of services, including, but not limited to: a) acute care healthcare facilities; b) internal patient continuing care healthcare facilities; c) long-term care facilities; d) community-based providers; e) ambulatory and external patient care clinics (e.g. day surgery, endoscopy clinics and doctors' offices). NOTE 3 This part of ISO 7396 may also be used as reference for pipeline systems for medical gases and vacuum intended to be installed in places other than healthcare facilities. ISO 7396-1:2016 applies to the following different types of oxygen supply systems: - supply systems in which all sources of supply deliver oxygen; in this case the concentration of the oxygen will be greater than 99%; - supply systems in which all sources of supply deliver oxygen 93; in this case the concentration of the oxygen may vary between 90% and 96%; NOTE 4 A mixture of oxygen 93 and oxygen may be delivered by a medical gas supply system. In this case the concentration of the gas can vary between 90% and >99%. ISO 7396-1:2016 also applies to: - extensions of existing pipeline distribution systems; - modifications of existing pipeline distribution systems; - modifications or replacement of supply systems or sources of supply. Oxygen concentrators for domiciliary use are excluded from the scope of this part of ISO 7396. NOTE 5 Requirements for oxygen concentrators for domiciliary use are specified in ISO 80601‑2-69. (*) EN 14931 defines additional requirements for hyperbaric application, in particular for flows and pressures of compressed air required to pressurize the hyperbaric chamber and to drive other connected services. Also included are requirements for oxygen and other treatment gases administered to patients. ISO 7396-1:2016 does not apply to vacuum systems intended to be used in dentistry. ISO 7396-1:2016 does not apply to filling systems for transportable cylinders and transportable cylinder bundle systems.

This document deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events as listed in Annex A, relevant to machines, when operated, adjusted and maintained as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer, including reasonably foreseeable misuse. Also, transport, assembly, dismantling, disabling and scrapping phases are taken into account. 1.2 This document is applicable to machines fitted with one or more of the following devices or additional working units, whose hazards have been dealt with: a) a device for hot gluing; b) a device for high-frequency gluing in the frequency range from 1 MHz to 400 MHz; c) a device for high-frequency shaping in the frequency range from 1 MHz to 400 MHz; d) an automatic workpiece loading and unloading system; e) an intermediate additional platen; f) a workpiece extractor; g) a horizontal pressing system; h) split moveable platens. 1.3 The machines are designed to process workpieces consisting of: a) solid wood; b) materials with similar characteristics to wood (see ISO 19085-1:2021, 3.2), except those with light alloy laminates/edges/profiles for high-frequency presses; c) wood-based material such as chipboard, fibreboard and plywood composed/laminated with steel sheets/edges/profiles, except for high-frequency presses; d) honeycomb board; e) composite boards made from the materials listed above. 1.4 This document does not deal with any hazards related to: — specific devices that differ from the list above; — hot fluid heating systems internal to the machine other than electrical; — any hot fluid heating systems external to the machine; — operation of taking intermediate platens out and in again; — the combination of a single machine being used with any other machine (as part of a line). 1.5 This document is not applicable to: — frame presses; — membrane presses where the pressing force is applied by vacuum only; — presses for producing chipboard, fibreboard, OSB; — machines intended for use in potentially explosive atmosphere; — machines manufactured before the date of publication of this document.
