In particular, this document specifies guidelines based on ISO/IEC 27002:2022, taking into consideration the regulatory requirements for the protection of PII which can be applicable within the context of the information security risk environment(s) of a provider of public cloud services. This document is applicable to all types and sizes of organizations, including public and private companies, government entities and not-for-profit organizations, which provide information processing services as PII processors via cloud computing under contract to other organizations. The guidelines in this document can also be relevant to organizations acting as PII controllers.

This part of the EN 1366 series specifies a method of test and criteria for the evaluation (including field of direct application rules) of the ability of a partial penetration seal to maintain the fire resistance of a separating element at the position at which it has been penetrated by a device or devices that passes through one face of the element only. Partial penetration seals are used to seal apertures for electrical sockets, downlighters, media devices, cables and any item which requires an opening to be made in one face of the element of construction but does not include a device which passes through both faces. Supporting constructions are used in this part of the EN 1366 series to represent separating elements such as walls or floors. The supporting construction shall be a system that has been subject to a fire test in accordance with one of the following standards: EN 13381 1 for horizontal membranes, EN 13381 2 for vertical membranes, EN 1364 1 or EN 1365 1 for walls, EN 1366 3 for walls based on a standard supporting construction, or EN 1364 2 or EN 1365 2 for floors. This is referred to throughout this document as the applicable test standard for the supporting construction. This part of the EN 1366 series is used in conjunction with EN 1363 1. The purpose of a test described in this part of the EN 1366 series is to assess the integrity and insulation performance of the partial penetration seal, of the partially penetrating service(s) or device(s) and of the separating element in the surrounding area of the partial penetration seal. Where partial penetration seals are installed in loadbearing elements, it is possible that the loadbearing capacity is also considered. It is not the intention of this test to provide quantitative information on the rate of leakage of smoke and/or hot gases or on the transmission or generation of fumes. Tests in accordance with this part of the EN 1366 series are not intended to supply any information on the ability of the partial penetration seal to withstand stress caused by movements or displacements of the penetrating devices. The risk of spread of fire downwards cannot be assessed with this test. Tests in accordance with this part of the EN 1366 series do not address any risks associated with leakage of dangerous liquids or gases caused by failure of the device in case of fire.

This document specifies requirements and provides recommendations for the following aspects of information technology cabling: a) planning; b) installation practice. This document is applicable to all types of information technology cabling outside buildings including generic cabling systems designed in accordance with EN 50173 series. The requirements and recommendations of this document can be applied to cabling that is defined as part of the building. The requirements and recommendations of Clauses 5, 6 and 7 of this document are subject to any site-specific requirements and recommendations of Clause 8. The planning of the pathway systems, spaces and structures within the core and access network cabling as described in Figure 2 that are owned by access providers is excluded except for requirements and recommendations that provide basic safety, function and environmental objectives for mechanical, ingress and climatic characteristics (i.e. excluding pathway dimensions, distribution of spaces and similar constraints based on specific transmission methods). The installation practices applicable to all cabling installation methods are included by the provision of the necessary planning requirements and recommendations associated with each one with the exception of information technology cabling installed: – around or within aerial power supply or associated earth conductors; – on infrastructures carrying power supplies in excess of AC/DC 25 kV. This document: 1) details the considerations for satisfactory installation and operation of information technology cabling; 2) excludes specific requirements applicable to other cabling systems (e.g. power supply cabling); however, it takes account of the effects other cabling systems may have on the installation of information technology cabling (and vice versa) and gives general advice; 3) excludes those aspects of installation associated with the transmission of signals in free space between transmitters, receivers or their associated antenna systems (e.g. wireless, radio, microwave or satellite). This document is applicable to certain hazardous environments. It does not exclude additional requirements which are applicable in particular circumstances, defined by e.g. electricity supply and electrified railways. The requirements within this document cover any additional requirements for the information technology cables installed in hazardous or stressful environments e.g. electricity supply and electric railway locations (see Clause 8). Safety (electrical safety and protection, optical power, fire protection, etc.) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements are outside the scope of this document and are covered by other standards and regulations. However, information given in this document can be of assistance in meeting these standards and regulations. Examples of areas covered by this document are shown in Figure 2.

This document defines various terms relating to the design, construction, primary packaging and testing of fireworks of categories F1, F2 and F3 as defined by Article 6 Paragraph (1) clause (a) subclause (i) to (iii) of Directive 2013/29/EU. It gives descriptions of fireworks types and establishes a system for categorization. Minimum labelling requirements for fireworks as well as for primary and selection packs of fireworks are specified. Firework specific test methods are defined. Specifications of requirements for construction and performance of firework, primary packs and selection packs complete this standard. This standard does not apply to fireworks intended to be kept or used at temperatures below −20 °C or above 50 °C.

ISO 20643:2005 provides the basis for the drafting of vibration test codes for hand-held and hand-guided power-driven machinery. It specifies the determination of hand-transmitted vibration emission in terms of frequency-weighted root-mean-square (r.m.s.) acceleration during type testing. For machines where vibration test codes do not exist, it can also be used for determination of emission values and contains sufficient guidance for designing an appropriate test. It is applicable to hand-held power tools (e.g. chipping hammers, sanders), hand-guided powered machines (e.g. lawn mowers, single-axle tractors, vibratory rollers), and other types of powered machines fitted with handles, guiding beams or similar means of control, of all power sources (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, internal combustion engine, etc.). It is not applicable to fixed machinery in which the vibration is transmitted to the hands of the user through the workpiece, nor to vibration transmitted from steering wheels or control levers of mobile machinery where the operator's position is on the machine.
