This document specifies characteristics of factory-made double skin metal faced insulating sandwich panels intended to be used as elements for self-supporting applications in construction works in roofs, external and internal walls (including partitions) and in ceilings (hereafter referred to as non-structural sandwich panels). The non-structural sandwich panels consist of two faces made of: — steel; — stainless steel; — aluminium; — aluminium alloys; — copper and insulating core made of: — rigid polyurethane (PU) (see 3.1.17); — expanded polystyrene (EPS) (see 3.1.15); — extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) (see 3.1.16); — phenolic foam (PF) (see 3.1.14); — mineral wool (MW) (see 3.1.13) either by using an auto-adhesive bonding technique or by using a separate adhesive layer. Products which are — curved; — perforated (perforated faces); — used for stabilization purposes; — consisting of two or more clearly specified layers of different insulating core materials (multi-layered) or of different materials per face; — used as ceilings when fastening is under permanent tension load; — parts of clean room kits, conditioning room kits, cold storage room kits and cold storage building envelope and building kits; — reused; are excluded from this product definition. Products intended to be used for structural applications are excluded from this product definition.

This document specifies the tolerances on dimensions and form for aluminium and aluminium alloy extruded porthole tubes with an outside diameter (OD) from 8 mm to 450 mm (round tube, see Figure 1) or with a cross section contained within a circumscribing circle (CD) from 10 mm to 350 mm (other than round tube, see Figure 2), supplied in straight lengths. The temper designations used in this part are according to EN 515. This document only applies to tube produced by the tube porthole/bridge method. This document does not apply to: — extruded tubes produced by the seamless, die/mandrel method (EN 755-7); — tubes delivered in coils (EN 13957); — coiled tubes cut to length (EN 13957). This document covers calcium silicate cement (common cement) intended to be used: - for the preparation of concrete, mortar, grout, and other mixes for construction and for the manufacture of construction products including structural and non-structural products, including white cement; - for the preparation of mortar for bricklaying, blocklaying, rendering and plastering, including white cement; - for the preparation of adhesives for other construction products; - for soil stabilization or improvement, road bases and sub-bases, and capping layers. Calcium aluminate cement, supersulfated cement, very low heat cement and alkali activated binder as well as masonry cement exclusively manufactured for the preparation of mortar for bricklaying, rendering and plastering are excluded from this product definition. NOTE 1 Calcium silicate cements with an intended use as defined in this document belong to the product category "common cement". This document specifies the equipment to be used, the procedures to be applied and the requirements for sampling common cement and/or its constituent materials, representative of defined lots, for testing purposes. The same equipment and procedures can be used for other types of cement or materials; in some cases, modifications to the procedure are also permitted, provided that this document and/or the modifications are referenced in the relevant product standards. The provisions of this document are only applicable when samples of constituent of common cement are: a) required for evaluating the conformity of common cement or constituent of cement at the characteristics related to common cement, to cement constituents, to the release of dangerous substances to soil and ground water of common cement, and to environmental sustainability of common cement; or b) requested for checking a delivery or a lot with a standard, the provisions of a contract or the specification in an order. This document is applicable to the sampling of powders or bulk materials, whether they are: c) contained in silos; d) contained in bags, canisters, drums or any other packages; e) transported in bulk in road vehicles, railway wagons, ships, etc. NOTE The requirements of this document can also, by agreement between the parties, be followed for acceptance inspections for all non-standardized hydraulic binders.
