The scope of this project is to provide guidelines for information exchange between BIM and GIS. As part of a series of proposed international standards for BIM-GIS information exchange, Part 02: Facilitating data exchange through metadata will aim to solve metadata issues to support bidirectional GIS/BIM information exchange and suggest technical requirements based on use case scenarios. Metadata give great opportunities to find, evaluate and manage relevant information for the bidirectional information exchange. To ensure the interoperability between GIS and BIM information models, it is critical for one domain experts to understand the metadata generated from the other domain and vice versa. The work will review existing methodologies and research with regard to bidirectional GIS/BIM information exchange, especially in terms of metadata and item registration. It will provide a use case scenario to give a certain context of bidirectional exchange of metadata. The use case will also provide the context within which the interaction that needs to be taken place between GIS and BIM model experts. With the use of the use case scenario, the process of properly generating metadata for each domain to ensure the bidirectional exchange can be identified. It will then list the technical requirements to support the process and provide a guideline to follow.

1.1 This document specifies the constructional requirements for fans constructed to Group II G (of explosion groups IIA, IIB and hydrogen) categories 1, 2 and 3, and Group II D categories 2 and 3, intended for use in explosive atmospheres. NOTE 1 Operation conditions for the different categories of fans used in this document are defined in Clause 4. 1.3 This document specifies requirements for design, construction, testing and marking of complete fan units intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in air containing gas, vapour, mist and/or dusts. Such atmospheres can exist inside (the conveyed atmosphere (flammable or not)), outside, or inside and outside of the fan. This document covers mechanical equipment, in particular fans. The “type of protection” as specified in EN ISO 80079 37:2016 is constructional safety. 1.4 This document is applicable to fans working in ambient atmospheres and with normal atmospheric conditions at the inlet, having — absolute pressures ranging from 0,8 bar to 1,1 bar, — and temperatures ranging from −20 °C to +60 °C, — and maximum volume fraction of 21 % oxygen content, — and an aerodynamic energy increase of less than 25 kJ/kg. NOTE 1 25 kJ/kg is equivalent to 30 kPa at inlet density of 1,2 kg/m3. This document can also be helpful for the design, construction, testing and marking of fans intended for use in atmospheres outside the validity range stated above or in cases where other material pairings need to be used. In this case, the ignition risk assessment, ignition protection provided, additional testing (if necessary), manufacturer's marking, technical documentation and instructions to the user, clearly demonstrate and indicate the equipment's suitability for the conditions the fan can encounter. NOTE 2 Temperatures below −20 °C can be considered. Material suitability can require specific evaluation for these temperatures. With lower temperature the explosion pressure increases, which leads to increased test pressures (see A.3) and can require specific testing. Although the standard atmospheric conditions in EN ISO 80079 36:2016 give a temperature range for the atmosphere of −20 °C to +60 °C the normal ambient temperature range for the equipment is −20 °C to +40 °C unless otherwise specified and marked. 1.5 This document does not apply to: — group I fans (fans for mining); — explosion group IIC (other than hydrogen); — category 1D fans; — cooling fans or impellers on rotating electrical machines; — cooling fans or impellers on internal combustion engines, vehicles or electric motors. NOTE 3 Measures for category 1D fans are given in EN 1127 1:2019. NOTE 4 Measures for explosion group IIC (other than hydrogen) are given in EN 1127 1:2019. NOTE 5 Measures for explosion group I are given in EN ISO/IEC 80079 38:2016 and EN 1127 2:2014.

This part of EN 196 describes the method for the determination of the compressive and, optionally, the flexural strength of cement mortar. The method is used for assessing whether the compressive strength of cement is in conformity with its specification and for validation testing of a CEN Standard sand, EN 196 1, or alternative compaction equipment. This part of EN 196 describes the reference equipment and procedure and allows alternative compaction equipment and procedures to be used provided that they have been validated in accordance with the appropriate provisions in this document. In the event of a dispute, only the reference equipment and procedure are used.

The following treatment methods are covered by this document: - methods in which depth vibrators, containing oscillating weights which cause horizontal vibrations, are inserted into the ground; - methods in which compaction probes are inserted into the ground using a vibrator, which remains above ground surface, and which oscillates in a vertical mode. Treatment methods are outlined in Annexes A, B, C and D. The following treatment methods, among others, are not included in this document: - dynamic compaction, dynamic replacement and other methods in which some form of treatment is applied to the ground surface; - uncompacted granular columns primarily used as drains; - explosive compaction.

The information in the containers is organized in sub-structures called data frames and data elements, which are described in terms of their content and syntax. The data structures are specified as communications-agnostic. This document does not provide the communication protocols. This document provides scenarios for usage of the data structure, e.g. in case of real time, short-range communications.

NOTE 1 A demountable body is a detachable frame designed to be carried by a vehicle or trailer. NOTE 2 A separate loader is a vehicle, with no load carrying capacity, equipped with a loader crane and designed to load or unload other vehicles and trailers. This document also applies to loader cranes equipped with special tools or interchangeable equipment (e.g. grapple, clamshell bucket, pallet clamp, etc.), as specified in the operator’s manual. This document does not apply to loader cranes used on board sea going vessels or to articulated boom system cranes which are designed as total integral parts of special equipment such as forwarders. The hazards covered by this document are identified in Clause 4. This document does not cover hazards related to the lifting of persons. NOTE 3 The use of cranes for lifting of persons can be subject to specific national regulations. This document is not applicable to loader cranes manufactured before the publication of this document. For loader cranes designed before the publication of this document, the provisions concerning stress calculations in the version of EN 12999 that was valid at the time of their design, are still applicable.

This document in the series specifies a compliance test providing information on leaching of granular waste materials, sludges, soil, soil-like materials and sediments under the experimental conditions specified hereafter, and particularly a liquid to solid ratio of 2 L/kg dry matter in a first step and subsequently of 8 L/kg dry matter in a second step. It applies to materials which have a particle size below 4 mm without or with size reduction. This document has been developed to investigate the leaching of inorganic and non-volatile organic substances from granular waste materials, sludges, soil, soil-like materials and sediments. It does not take into account the consequences of microbiological processes in organic degradable materials. The test procedure specified in this document produces an eluate which is subsequently characterized physically and chemically according to appropriate standard methods. This document includes two different procedures for eluate preparation prior to analysis, one procedure for non-volatile organic substances, inorganic substances and DOC and one for inorganic substances and DOC. When assessing only the leaching of inorganic substances and DOC, certain precautions needed when assessing the leaching of organic substances can in some cases be omitted. This procedure cannot be applied to materials with a water content or such a water affinity that a good mixing of the solid with the predetermined quantity of liquid is not achievable. This procedure does not apply to materials reacting with the leachant, leading, for example, to excessive gas emission, a solidifying effect or an excessive heat release. In that case, the material can be wetted prior to carrying out the leaching test. This test cannot be used alone to determine the leaching behaviour of granular waste materials, sludges, soil, soil-like materials and sediments, as specified in EN 12920. This document does not address issues related to health and safety.
