This document is applicable to self-propelled and pedestrian propelled manual and semi-manual industrial trucks as defined in ISO 5053 1:2020 including their load handling devices and attachments (hereafter referred to as trucks) intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. NOTE 1 Attachments mounted on the load carrier or on fork arms which are removable by the user are not considered to be a part of the truck. This document specifies supplementary technical requirements for the prevention of the ignition of an explosive atmosphere of flammable gases, vapours, mists or dusts by industrial trucks of equipment group II and equipment category 2G, 3G, 2D or 3D. NOTE 2 The relationship between an equipment category (hereafter referred to as category) and the corresponding zone (area classification) is shown in informative Annex B. This document does not apply to: — trucks of equipment group I; — trucks of equipment group II, equipment category 1; — trucks intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres with hybrid mixtures; — protective systems. This document does not apply to trucks intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres of carbon disulfide (CS2), carbon monoxide (CO) and/or ethylene oxide (C2H4O) due to the special properties of these gases. Technical requirements relating to lithium-ion batteries and fuel cells as energy sources are not given in this document due to their specific hazards.

It also applies, as far as practical, to cylinders of less than 0,5 l water capacity. This document does not apply to the periodic inspection and maintenance of acetylene cylinders or to the periodic inspection and testing of composite cylinders. NOTE Unless noted by exception, the use of the word "cylinder" in this document refers to both cylinders and tubes.

This document describes an analytical method for the determination of uranium in samples from pure product materials such as U metal, UO2, UO3, uranyl nitrate hexahydrate, uranium hexafluoride and U3O8 from the nuclear fuel cycle. This procedure is sufficiently accurate and precise to be used for nuclear materials accountability. This method can be used directly for the analysis of most uranium and uranium oxide nuclear reactor fuels, either irradiated or un-irradiated, and of uranium nitrate product solutions. Fission products equivalent to up to 10 % burn-up of heavy atoms do not interfere, and other elements which could cause interference are not normally present in sufficient quantity to affect the result significantly. The method recommends that an aliquot of sample is weighed and that a mass titration is used, in order to obtain improved precision and accuracy. This does not preclude the use of alternative techniques which could give equivalent performance. The use of automatic device(s) in the performance of some critical steps of the method has some advantages, mainly in the case of routine analysis.

NOTE For determination of the dry matter content of a sample of paper or board, e.g. for calculation of the dry mass of the sample, ISO 638[1] can be used.

This Iinternational Standard specifies a method of obtaining a representative sample from a lot of paper or board, including solid and corrugated fibreboard (see ISO 4046:1978), for testing to determine whether or not its average quality complies with set specifications. It defines the conditions which apply when sampling is carried out to resolve disputes between buyer and seller relating to a defined lot of paper or board, which has been or is being delivered. NOTE If less than 50 % of the lot is available for sampling, then sampling in terms of this International Standard will be invalid in the absence of agreement to the contrary. The method is unsuitable for determining the variability within a lot. In cases where International Standards make reference to sampling according to this standard but where such sampling is impossible, impractical or inappropriate, and where no dispute is involved, guidance is given in normative annex A.

Transmodel is composed of 10 parts (see above). This work item consists in the revision and update of the documentation of the Public transport reference data model – Part 8 (Transmodel – Part 8). The update consists basically of the following types of actions: a. Simplication of Part 8 based on the revision of Part 1: several functional extensions of Transmodel took place since the last publication of EN12896 (in 2016 and 2019). The functional extensions elaborated until 2019 generated additional common concepts which have already been published in the relevant documents. These additional common concepts are now integrated into Transmodel - Part 1 and thus removed from Part 8. b. Updates/extensions of Part 8 as a consequence of • Work presented in TR17370:2019. This TR provides a list of KPIs calculated using operational raw data. The action consists here to provide data model extracts, representing the raw data needed for several KPIs (listed in TR17370:2019), The extracted sub-models are based upon the (already existing) "Loggable object model" and will complete the 2 examples published in the current version of Part 8. c. Ensuring coherence of the Transmodel eco-system. Several updates of Transmodel- Part 8 result from the discussions lead with the OpRa group and intend to ensure coherence with the OpRa Technical Specification.

It deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events, listed in Annex A, relevant to the machines, when operated, adjusted and maintained as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer; reasonably foreseeable misuse has been considered too. Also, transport, assembly, dismantling, disabling and scrapping phases are taken into account. It is also applicable to machines fitted with one or more of the following devices / additional working units, whose hazards have been dealt with: — universal spindle; — glass bead saw unit; — fixed or movable workpiece support; — quick tool changing system; — laser marking unit; — automatic workpiece returner; — in-feed hopper; — loading magazine; — unloading table. This document does not deal with any hazards related to: a) in-feed devices other than in-feed hopper and loading magazine; NOTE 1 For mechanical in-feed devices which also prevent access to the in-feed opening, see 6.6.4. b) out-feed devices other than unloading table, except for hazards related to ejection from the machine due to climb cutting; c) out-feed of workpieces on machines with feed speed higher than 60 m/min; NOTE 2 Machines with feed speed higher than 60 m/min are usually combined with mechanical unloading and workpiece transfer systems. d) machines being used in combination with any other machine (as part of a line).
