This standard deals with the safety of electrically operated commercial kitchen machines, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single phase appliances connected between one phase and neutral, and 480 V for other appliances including direct current (DC) supplied appliances and battery operated appliances. These appliances are not intended for household and similar purposes. They are used for commercial processing of food in areas not open to the public, for example in kitchens of restaurants, canteens, hospitals and in commercial enterprises such as bakeries and butcheries.

This part of EN 1852 specifies definitions and requirements for solid wall pipes with smooth internal and external surfaces extruded from the same compound throughout the wall, fittings and the system of polypropylene (PP) piping systems in the field of non-pressure underground drains and sewers for wastewater. NOTE 1 Products complying with this document can also be used in non-pressure underground drains and sewers for surface water. This document is applicable to: — solid wall pipes and fittings which are intended to be used buried underground outside the building structure reflected in the marking of the products by "U", and — solid wall pipes and fittings which are intended to be used buried underground both outside (application area code “U”) and within the building structure reflected in the marking of products by "UD". This document specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this document. NOTE 2 Multilayer pipes with different compounds throughout the wall are covered by EN 13476 2 [1] (see also CEN ISO/TR 27165 [2]). NOTE 3 Plastics piping systems made of PP with mineral modifiers (PP-MD) are covered by EN 14758-1 [3]. This document covers a range of nominal sizes, and pipe series and gives recommendations concerning colours. NOTE 4 It is the responsibility of the purchaser or specifier to make the appropriate selection from these aspects, taking into account their particular requirements and any relevant national regulations and installation practices or codes. This document is applicable to PP pipes and fittings, their joints and to joints with components of other plastics and non-plastics materials intended to be used for buried piping systems for non-pressure underground drains and sewers. Fittings can be manufactured by injection-moulding or be fabricated from pipes, fittings and/or mouldings. NOTE 5 Pipes, fittings and other components conforming to any of the plastics product standards listed in Annex C can be connected to pipes and fittings conforming to this document, when they conform to the requirements for joint dimensions given in Clause 6 and to the requirements of Table 14.

This part of EN 196 describes the method for the determination of the compressive and, optionally, the flexural strength of cement mortar. The method applies to common cements and to other cements and materials, the standards for which call up this method. It may not apply to other cement types that have, for example, a very short initial setting time. The method is used for assessing whether the compressive strength of cement is in conformity with its specification and for validation testing of a CEN Standard sand, EN 196 1, or alternative compaction equipment. This part of EN 196 describes the reference equipment and procedure and allows alternative compaction equipment and procedures to be used provided that they have been validated in accordance with the appropriate provisions in this document. In the event of a dispute, only the reference equipment and procedure are used.

This document establishes general principles for the execution of soil treatment by deep vibration. The following types of treatment are covered by this document: - deep vibratory compaction to densify the ground as mentioned in EN 1997 3:2025, Annex I, Table I.1; - vibrated columns formed by inserted granular material laterally/radially compacted against the surrounding ground to form a stiff composite column-soil structure (vibrated compacted granular columns) as mentioned in EN 1997 3:2025, Annex I, Table I.2; - vibrated columns formed by inserted material developing unconfined compressive strength comprising a composite of binder and granular material (rigid columns) as mentioned in EN 1997 3:2025, Annex I, Table I.2. The following treatment methods are covered by this document: - methods in which depth vibrators, containing oscillating weights which cause horizontal vibrations, are inserted into the ground; - methods in which compaction probes are inserted into the ground using a vibrator, which remains above ground surface, and which oscillates in a vertical mode. Treatment methods are outlined in Annexes A, B, C and D. The following treatment methods, among others, are not included in this document: - dynamic compaction, dynamic replacement and other methods in which some form of treatment is applied to the ground surface; - uncompacted granular columns primarily used as drains; - explosive compaction.

This document specifies a framework of additional characteristics and associated test methods for bitumens and bituminous binders, which is complementary to other product standards for bitumens and bituminous binders. This document is applicable to bitumens and bituminous binders suitable for use in paving applications, but it is also applicable for other uses such as waterproofing membranes. With regard to paving applications, the following characteristics are addressed: - resistance to permanent deformation (rutting); - resistance to low-temperature cracking; - resistance to ravelling; - resistance to fatigue cracking; - temperature susceptibility; - equi-stiffness temperature and phase angle; - durability (evolution of equi-stiffness temperature and phase angle); - mixing and handling characteristics (paving and compaction) temperatures; - additional characteristics (e.g. solubility, elastic recovery and storage stability). Not all the properties and characteristics established in the framework are universally relevant to all binders. For example, elastic recovery is not relevant for unmodified binders.

It leverages appropriate portions of existing standards including ISO/IEEE 11073 terminology and information models. It specifies the use of specific term codes, formats, and behaviors in telehealth environments restricting optionality in base frameworks in favor of interoperability. This standard defines a common core of communication functionality for personal telehealth strength fitness devices. In this context, strength fitness devices are being used broadly to cover strength fitness devices that measure musculo-skeletal strength-conditioning activities. This document contains also procedures and tests for verification of the compliance with the requirements as well as safety information for use, which will be made available to the user by the manufacturer. This document does not apply to bonded abrasive products, coated abrasive products, rotating dressing tools, truers or any non-rotating superabrasive products.

ISO 14114:2017 applies to acetylene cylinder manifold systems extending from the cylinder valve or the bundle outlet connections to the outlet connection of the main shut-off valve. It specifies requirements for design, materials and testing of cylinder manifold systems for the supply of acetylene for use in welding, cutting and allied processes. ISO 14114:2017 applies to acetylene cylinder manifold systems in which acetylene single cylinders or acetylene bundles are coupled for collective gas withdrawal. NOTE National regulations exist regarding limitation of the amount of single cylinders/bundles of acetylene on a single location (e.g. in warehouse or connected to a manifold system). ISO 14114:2017 also covers a test procedure for decomposition blockers.

This document specifies the in-vehicle information (IVI) data structures that are required by different intelligent transport system (ITS) services for exchanging information between ITS stations (ITS-S). A general, extensible data structure is specified, which is split into structures called containers to accommodate current-day information. Transmitted information includes IVI such as contextual speed, road works warnings, vehicle restrictions, lane restrictions, road hazard warnings, location-based services and re-routing. The information in the containers is organized in sub-structures called data frames and data elements, which are described in terms of their content and syntax. The data structures are specified as communications-agnostic. This document does not provide the communication protocols. This document provides scenarios for usage of the data structure, e.g. in case of real time, short-range communications.

The provisions of this document are only applicable when samples of constituent of common cement are: a) required for evaluating the conformity of common cement or constituent of cement at the characteristics related to common cement, to cement constituents, to the release of dangerous substances to soil and ground water of common cement, and to environmental sustainability of common cement; or b) requested for checking a delivery or a lot with a standard, the provisions of a contract or the specification in an order. This document is applicable to the sampling of powders or bulk materials, whether they are: c) contained in silos; d) contained in bags, canisters, drums or any other packages; e) transported in bulk in road vehicles, railway wagons, ships, etc. NOTE The requirements of this document can also, by agreement between the parties, be followed for acceptance inspections for all non-standardized hydraulic binders.

This document applies to loader cranes designed to be installed on: - road vehicles, including trailers, with load carrying capability; - tractors (road or agricultural), where only a towed trailer has capability to carry goods; - demountable bodies to be carried by any of the above; - other types of carriers (e.g. separate loaders, crawlers, rail vehicles, non-seagoing vessels); - static foundations. NOTE 1 A demountable body is a detachable frame designed to be carried by a vehicle or trailer. NOTE 2 A separate loader is a vehicle, with no load carrying capacity, equipped with a loader crane and designed to load or unload other vehicles and trailers. This document also applies to loader cranes equipped with special tools or interchangeable equipment (e.g. grapple, clamshell bucket, pallet clamp, etc.), as specified in the operator’s manual. This document does not apply to loader cranes used on board sea going vessels or to articulated boom system cranes which are designed as total integral parts of special equipment such as forwarders. The hazards covered by this document are identified in Clause 4. This document does not cover hazards related to the lifting of persons. NOTE 3 The use of cranes for lifting of persons can be subject to specific national regulations. This document is not applicable to loader cranes manufactured before the publication of this document. For loader cranes designed before the publication of this document, the provisions concerning stress calculations in the version of EN 12999 that was valid at the time of their design, are still applicable.

This document describes the analytical procedures used to determine the content of tricalcium silicate (C3S), dicalcium silicate (C2S), tricalcium aluminate (C3A) and tetracalcium aluminoferrite (C4AF) of cement starting from a chemical analysis on cement. The method can be applied on all common cements as defined on EN 197-1. This document also describes the calculation procedures for determining of tricalcium silicate (C3S), dicalcium silicate (C2S), aluminate (C3A) and tetracalcium aluminoferrite (C4AF) in the Portland cement clinker as defined in the EN 197-1. In both cases, for cement and clinker, the calculation method is based on the Bogue method assuming each phase has a pure composition. This is a conventional method, whereby the actual mineralogical composition can differ from the results obtained using this method. For the determination of the various chemical species of clinker, cement and basic-complexing residue (BCR) described in this document, the method is indicated in the relevant clause.

This document describes a test method applicable to cast test specimens for evaluating the Sulfate Resistance (SR characteristic) of cements. Sulfate resistance means that these binders can be used in concrete bodies submitted to sulfate attacks. In these methods, the test is carried out under controlled exposure conditions using a defined concentration of sulfate solution. The chosen test conditions are intended to accelerate external sulfate attack. This test method is appropriate in particular for CEM III/A cements and other various binders, in particular those with pozzolanic main constituents. It is adapted from the CUR - NL - Civieltechnisch Centrum Uitvoering Research en Regelgeving (Centre for Civil Engineering Research and Codes) - Recommendation 48 - Suitability test for new cements for application in concrete. This test method is listed in European Assessment Document - EAD 150004-00-0301, Annex B.

This document in the series specifies a compliance test providing information on leaching of granular waste materials, sludges, soil, soil-like materials and sediments under the experimental conditions specified hereafter, and particularly a liquid to solid ratio of 2 L/kg dry matter in a first step and subsequently of 8 L/kg dry matter in a second step. It applies to materials which have a particle size below 4 mm without or with size reduction. This document has been developed to investigate the leaching of inorganic and non-volatile organic substances from granular waste materials, sludges, soil, soil-like materials and sediments. It does not take into account the consequences of microbiological processes in organic degradable materials. The test procedure specified in this document produces an eluate which is subsequently characterized physically and chemically according to appropriate standard methods. This document includes two different procedures for eluate preparation prior to analysis, one procedure for non-volatile organic substances, inorganic substances and DOC and one for inorganic substances and DOC. When assessing only the leaching of inorganic substances and DOC, certain precautions needed when assessing the leaching of organic substances can in some cases be omitted. This procedure cannot be applied to materials with a water content or such a water affinity that a good mixing of the solid with the predetermined quantity of liquid is not achievable. This procedure does not apply to materials reacting with the leachant, leading, for example, to excessive gas emission, a solidifying effect or an excessive heat release. In that case, the material can be wetted prior to carrying out the leaching test. This test cannot be used alone to determine the leaching behaviour of granular waste materials, sludges, soil, soil-like materials and sediments, as specified in EN 12920. This document does not address issues related to health and safety.
